BACKGROUND SCREENING PROCESS

Background checks are part of our due diligence checks as an employment business. These checks vary depending on the client your new role is with and the type of role which will be explained to you at the point of starting your background screening. As part of the recruitment process, we will need to carry out right-to-work checks as a minimum and the additional checks that may be required include employment references checks, criminal and credit checks, verification of education and any employment gaps etc.

The purpose of these checks is to ensure you're fit to work for the client and to be paid by us. It is important to be truthful when you're asked to complete pre-employment screening forms and documentation.

This is normally the last stage of the onboarding process once you've been offered your new role and the compliance team at The Fiser Group will reach out to you by email requesting all information required.

This process normally takes between 10-14 days roughly to complete but will depend on the checks that are required for your background screening. The compliance team will keep you updated throughout the process and will also be liaising with the consultant internally.

We use Secured Signing to send out these requests so that you can submit your information and documents securely online as well as signing documents electronically.

Once the background screening is completed you’ll be passed over to our payroll team who will get you setup to be added to the payroll, they also have a document explaining everything [read more here].
